The annual An Táin Arts Centre Festive book club get-together takes place on Thursday 18th December, at 8pm in Roe River Books. The favourite reads from 2025 will be discussed and members will vote the An Táin Arts Centre’s Reader’s Choice of 2025. Festive snacks and treats guaranteed. A monthly book club in association with Roe River Books and Louth County Libraries.
Paul Hayes, Director at An Táin Arts Centre, says “It’s been another wonderful year of reading and sharing our thoughts on 11 diverse books, with insightful Q&A sessions with some of the writers. The Christmas Get Together is always one of the highlights of the year where we all meet, enjoy a drink and look back at all the brilliant books we’ve explored. The evening culminates in the much-anticipated vote for ‘An Táin Arts Centre’s Book Club Book of the Year.’ So come along and get involved.”
Members are asked to take a used book from their book shelf that they don’t want anymore and wrap it up to take along on the night for Book Club Secret Santa. It’s a sustainable way of sharing the love of reading!
