The event is part of an ongoing consultation process for the Longwalk Urban Regeneration Project, a local initiative aimed at revitalising this key part of Dundalk. A design team appointed by Louth County Council is currently developing a regeneration strategy for the area. The goal is to create a vibrant, inclusive space that supports the town’s future growth and meets the needs of residents, visitors, and businesses
Members of the public are invited to take part in a Community Drop-In Event on Tuesday, July 1st to help shape the future of Dundalk’s Long Walk area.
The drop-in session will showcase the draft vision and priority areas for regeneration, shaped by public input from the project’s first consultation event. Attendees will have the opportunity to review the proposals, vote on priorities, and share additional feedback.
This is a family-friendly, open event, and all members of the community are welcome to attend at any time during the afternoon.
